Welcome to Green Street Green Primary School.
On behalf of the children, staff and governors at Green Street Green Primary School I would like to welcome you to our School website.
Green Street Green Primary School is a place where we aim to create passionate and successful lifelong learners equipped for their future journey. This will be achieved by having an inspirational, dedicated and skilful team of staff and governors.
By providing an engaging and creative curriculum which excites our children, and by promoting excellent behaviour through our Golden Rules, we aim to enthuse in all our children a desire to learn, as well as care and respect each other.
The link between home and school is integral to your child’s success and we encourage parents to take an active part in their child's learning. We see parents as partners in the education of their children, and greatly value their contribution to school life. Children thrive when they feel happy, safe and respected.
Whatever the needs of your child or special interests they have, we aim to ensure your child thrives at Green Street Green Primary School. We want the children here to have memorable experiences, build on what they know and can do and help them to become confident, life-long learners.
Green Street has very strong sense of community. We have a hard working governing board who support and challenge the school. Green Street Green has a very successful School and Home Association who work together with the whole school community to raise funds for a wide variety of projects throughout the school; their support has enabled us to enhance the school's provision in many areas.
In April 2016 we formed the South Orpington Learning Alliance (SOLA) multi-academy trust with 5 other local schools: Chelsfield Primary School, Darrick Wood Junior School, The Highway Primary School, Pratt’s Bottom Primary School and Tubbenden Primary School. The aim of the group is to maximise the learning for our children by sharing expertise and resources. More information about SOLA can be found underneath this statement and also by clicking the SOLA emblem on the front page of the website.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for.
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
